Role Accomplishments

I founded Sustaio in 2020, inspired by my Master’s thesis in Sustainable Design. What started as a research concept grew into a consumer climate platform that helped households cut energy costs, reduce their carbon footprint, and earn real cash rewards for sustainable actions.

Over the following years, I led Sustaio from idea to market: joining the Techstars Energy Accelerator, raising a $500K pre-seed from VCs, angels, and crowdfunding, and securing one of the largest energy providers in the U.S. as a customer. I designed and built the platform end-to-end, developed an algorithm that translated grid, gas, and water data into household carbon intensity insights, and grew the product to 1,000+ users.

My focus throughout was creating a design-driven, accessible approach to climate tech—positioning Sustaio as an early leader in the consumer sustainability space.
