2017, Fall, Making the Business Case for Sustainability
Sustainability Focus: Tourism, Consulting, Writing a sustainable business plan.
Objective: Over the course, we ideated a business model and wrote a business plan for this conceived model. I wrote a business plan for a model that consults and works with ski and beach resorts. Much like a brand would hire a creative consultant to build their brand, these resorts would hire Green Resort Consulting to make their resort sustainable in the aspects of waste management, sourcing, energy, product affiliation, operations, and overall brand and marketing.

Sustainability Focus: The Natural Step: Product Lifespan and Material Analysis
Objective: The assignment was to take the Natural Step Principles into action by applying the Natural Step's ABCD approach to a product I use daily. I chose the Zephyr Snowboard boot to analyze. In addition, I found company weaknesses that the company could either change or improve to be more sustainable.

2018, Spring, Innovation Tools + Techniques
Sustainability Focus: People, Mental Health, Quality of Life, Work Place, Biomimicry
Objective: Throughout the semester we were assigned to develop an idea by applying the innovation tools and techniques we were learning about each week to our idea. The Nine to Five app aims to put people in control of their work life to ensure they have the time to do what is important to them. What sparked this idea was the 9 to 5 grind that so many people endure.
